In this series of nine etchings, Piermario Dorigatti explores the tension between form and gesture, between matter and figure.
The small size of the prints contrasts with the incisive power of the line, which becomes a visceral mark — at times animalistic, at times visionary.

The deep black of the etchings—scratched, pulsating—gives life to ambiguous presences, at times anthropomorphic, at others feral.
Each print is a microcosm containing both unease and poetry, instinct and contemplation.

A compact and intense series in which the artist — a professor at the Brera Academy and a key figure in contemporary Italian painting — entrusts etching with a raw and essential language, like a prophecy carved into time.
