Artisti: Martina Antonioni, Federico Catagnoli, Mauro Valsecchi
Federico Catagnoli (Milan, 1988) followed a rather eclectic educational path. After attending a scientific high school, he enrolled in the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Milan, where he studied for two years.
A few years later, he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Cultural Heritage Studies, specializing in Art History and Criticism, before completing his academic path in the arts with a Master’s degree in Visual Arts and Curatorial Studies at NABA.
This varied path allowed him to observe art from both a personal and collective perspective, later channeling his scientific, imaginative, and cultural background directly into his artistic practice.
He has taken part in several group exhibitions, including Just Good Friends – the Reunion of Common Things in Spotorno (SV) in 2017, and Ho fissato uno sguardo che stava per scomparire at Studio Ipogeo, Milan, in 2018. In the same year, he participated in Disaccordi at Studio EO.
In 2022, he presented his solo exhibition Cosa vedi, oltre questi orizzonti? at the tower of Castellaro Lagusello.
In 2024, he was one of the four artists featured in the exhibition Duat of Light. Confine naturale at The YAH Factory, Milan.
In 2025, he participated in Affordable Art Fair Brussels, presented the solo exhibition Abbiamo sempre fame at The YAH Factory, Milan, and took part in the group exhibition Altrove at Art Gallery Finestreria, curated by Claudia Ponzi, in Milan.
Martina Antonioni (Milan, 1986) lives and works in Milan, where she carries out her artistic research in the fields of painting and sculpture.
In 2012, she graduated in Visual Arts and Curatorial Studies from NABA, Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti, in Milan.
She has taken part in several workshops: in 2011, a Visual Arts workshop with Tim Rollins; a Visual Arts workshop with Grupo Etcetera as part of Attica Project; and, in 2010, a Visual Arts workshop with Nomedas and Gediminas Urbonas.
In 2024, she exhibited with Federico Rui Arte Contemporanea at the art fair The Others in Turin.
She has participated in numerous group exhibitions. Among the most recent are: (Corpo) umano, Martina Antonioni, Riccardo Garolla, Francesco Quadri, Villa Bagatti Valsecchi, Varedo, curated by Ilaria Introzzi, 2025; Tuttigatti, Finestreria Art Gallery, curated by Claudia Ponzi, 2024; ART IN MOTION / 2, Musa, Salò, curated by Anna Lisa Ghirardi, 2024; Waw!, Federico Rui Arte Contemporanea, Milan, 2021; States of Mind, Palazzo Valmarana Braga, Vicenza, curated by Petra Cason, 2019; and Michelangelo Reload, CAV – Centro Arti Visive, Pietrasanta, curated by Alessandro Romanini, 2019.
Among her most important solo exhibitions are: Il mistero dei sogni – Martina Antonioni Paolo Nicolai, Federico Rui Arte Contemporanea, Milan, 2024; Outarchica – Martina Antonioni Barbara Fragogna, Numa Contemporary, Vicenza, curated by Petra Cason, 2022; and Dialoghi – Martina Antonioni Attilio Forgioli, Federico Rui Arte Contemporanea, Milan, 2018.
Awards: finalist for Exibart Prize N5, 2025.
Mauro Valsecchi (Milan, 1992) graduated in Fine Arts from NABA, Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti, Milan, in 2014, and later specialised in Visual Arts and Curatorial Studies in 2018.
During those years, he took part in several group exhibitions, including Barbarie at Fabbrica del Vapore in Milan, curated by Marcello Maloberti and Adrian Paci. He was selected for Flash Event, curated by Arianna Rosica, at FM Centro per l’Arte Contemporanea, Palazzo del Ghiaccio, Milan.
In 2021, he presented the solo exhibition Stratificazioni di visioni at the Tower of Castellaro Lagusello, in the province of Mantua, followed in 2022 by Scrittura a perdere at Fang Arte Gallery in Turin.
He has been collaborating with Art Gallery Finestreria in Milan since 2025, also taking part in ArtVerona, where he won the fifth edition of the Massimiliano Galliani Prize for drawing under 40.
He lives and works in Milan.
