On the occasion of Design Week 2026, Art Gallery Finestreria presents Finestreria Fuorisalone, curated by Claudia Ponzi, a project that intertwines contemporary art and design.
On view are works by Paola Fonticoli, Franco Guarneri, Catherine Leo, Giusi Loisi, Andrea Marzagalli, Luca Rizzi Brignoli, Guido Rocca, Alessandra Rovelli, Angelo Spatola, and Franco Tripodi.
The exhibition presents a selection of three-dimensional and two-dimensional wall-based works: woven canvases, landscapes, memories, and geometric forms, created through a variety of materials and techniques ranging from painting to sculpture, from drawing to collage, and including the use of wood, mirrored surfaces, paper, and photography.
Design and contemporary art thus find common ground, where the aesthetics of design interact with artistic sensitivity, moving beyond disciplinary boundaries.
In this suspended dimension, materials, forms, and processes reveal the connections between artistic and design practices.
